You may need a box of tissues for Jodie & Ben's Wedding I shot with my amazing friend Pixie Abbott. Everything about their day was about the importance of love and family. The bride kept a locket on the backs of her shoes with a photo of her dearly loved Grandma. And after they had raised a toast to absent friends and family they took a moment out of their day to remember those loved ones by releasing white balloons in their memory.

Supermarket Flowers by Ed Sheeran lyrics fit beautifully for this moment:

“I hope that I see the world as you did cause I know

A life with love is a life that’s been lived

You were an angel in the shape of my mum

You got to see the person I have become

Spread your wings

And I know that when God took you back he said Hallelujah

You’re home”
